What is a technical feasibility study?
A technical feasibility study tests whether a proposed project works at a specific site under specific conditions. It combines site assessment, load and resource analysis, technology selection and sizing, and performance modelling, then feeds those outputs into a financial model to produce payback, IRR, and LCOE with sensitivity analysis.
How much does an energy study cost?
Cost scales with facility complexity and audit depth rather than with a fixed rate. A walk-through assessment of a single building is a fraction of a detailed audit with metering, which in turn is far less than an investment-grade audit with extended monitoring. We scope the level to the decision being made, so the study never costs more than the choice it informs.
What is the difference between preliminary and detailed design?
Preliminary design establishes the technical concept — equipment selection, layout, single-line diagram, and grid-connection approach — at a depth sufficient for permitting and budget approval. Detailed design produces the full construction package: complete electrical and structural documentation, specifications, and a bill of quantities that lets contractors bid on identical scope.
